The County of San Mateo, in partnership with the City and County of San Francisco acting by and through the San Francisco International Airport, to receive a grant in the amount of $200,000 from the California State Coastal Conservancy for the purpose of preparing a sea level rise vulnerability assessment and adaptation study; and

 

B)

The County Manager or his designee to execute an agreement with SFO and the Coastal Conservancy to receive this grant

Adoption of an ordinance amending the Master Salary Ordinance to add two Deputy Probation Officer positions to the Probation Department; one Community Worker position to the District Attorney's Office; and two Social Worker I/II, one Community Worker, one Vocational Counselor, and one Job Development Specialist positions to the Human Services Agency for a total of eight positions funded through AB 109 funding from the State, previously introduced May 20, 2014 and waiver of reading the ordinance in its entirety

 

GOVERNING BOARDS

 

26.

Acting as the Governing Board of the ten County Sewer/Sanitation Districts:

 

A)

Introduce an Ordinance amending Section 4.32.020 of Chapter 4.32 of Title 4, of the San Mateo County Ordinance Code, setting the FY 2014-15 sewer service rates at the same level as the FY 2013-14 rates for the Burlingame Hills Sewer Maintenance District and the Crystal Springs County Sanitation District and waiver of reading the Ordinance in its entirety; and

 

B)

Adopt a Resolution setting Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at the regularly scheduled Board meeting as the time and place for a public hearing on filing of the sewer service charges report for FY 2014-15 for the ten County sewer maintenance and sanitation districts based on the sewer service rates set for FY 2014-15

Acting as the Governing Board of County Service Area No. 8, adopt a Resolution setting Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at the regularly scheduled Board meeting, as the time and place for a public hearing on the filing of the Garbage and Recyclables Collection Service Charges Report for County Service Area No. 8 (North Fair Oaks) for FY 2014-15

Acting as the Governing Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, authorize the Executive Director of the Housing Authority to execute application documents for the Department of Housing and Urban Developmentís Rental Assistance Demonstration Program for El Camino Village

Resolution:

 

 

 

A)

Ratifying the signature of the Director of the Human Services Agency on an† agreement with Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc., in the amount of $341,926; and

 

 

 

 

B)

Authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Northwoods Consulting Partners, Inc., for proprietary software services, increasing the amount by $458,074 to $800,000

 

PUBLIC WORKS

 

36.

Resolution authorizing:

 

A)

The President of the Board to execute an agreement with C. F. Archibald Paving, Inc. for the resurfacing and construction of valley gutters on Valparaiso Avenue, from Altschul Avenue to Alameda de las Pulgas - West Menlo Park area, in the amount of $283,545; and

 

B)

The Director of Public Works to:

 

 

 

1)

Execute subsequent change orders to grant time extensions for project completion and payment up to a maximum aggregate amount not to exceed $28,354.50, or approximately 10% of the agreement amount; and

 

 

 

 

2)

File a Notice of Exemption for a California Environmental Quality Act Categorical Exemption

 

37.

Resolution:

 

A)

Adopting plans and specifications, including conformance with prevailing wage scale requirements, for roads improvements on portions of Del Mar, Madrone and San Ramon Avenues in the Seal Cove/Moss Beach area; and

 

B)

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to call for sealed proposals to be received by Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2:30 p.m., in the office of the County Manager/Clerk of the Board of Supervisors

Resolution:

 

A)

Adopting the plans and specifications, including conformance with prevailing wage scale requirements for the reconstruction of San Benito Avenue from Oak Drive to the End, and installation of valley gutters on Fair Oaks Avenue between 12th and 14th Avenues Ė North Fair Oaks Area; and

 

B)

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to call for sealed proposals to be received by Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2:30 p.m., in the office of the County Manager/Clerk of the Board of Supervisors

 

39.

Resolution authorizing:

 

A)

An agreement with Interstate Grading & Paving, Inc., for the Crystal Springs Regional Trail South of Dam Project, in the amount of $899,957.80; and

 

B)

The Director of Public Works to execute subsequent change orders to grant time extensions for project completion and payment up to a maximum aggregate amount not to exceed $89,995.50, or approximately 10% of the agreement amount

Resolution authorizing an amendment to the agreement with Turbo Data Systems, Inc. for citation processing and adjudication of County agency issued parking citations, extending the term through June 30, 2015
